iPhone 8 is coming soon and we’ve revamped Opera Mini!
The wait is over! Today we released the new version of Opera Mini for iPhone before Apple launches its iPhone 8. With or without iPhone 8, we brought some goodies for you to enhance the browsing experience on your iPhone when you are on the go.
An app redesign inspired by your browsing habits.

Over the past year, we observed that reading news and searching are the top two activities in a mobile browser. The Opera Mini start page makes it easy for you to do both of these things.
In the new Opera Mini for iOS, you will see a completely redesigned user interface. We’ve rejuvenated the address and search bar color to Opera red. The search bar has also gotten smarter. It now reminds you that it’s not your ordinary address bar, but it also scans QR codes and allows you to customize your search engine.
Another major change is that top trending news becomes the star of the start page, making it easier and faster for you to access all the latest headlines in your area. We’ve also made Opera Mini even more efficient by loading full news stories at least four times faster, compared with the previous version.
An AI-powered newsfeed to stay in-the-know
The AI-powered technology in the Opera Mini newsreader gives you a more personalized start page each time you use it. No setup or customization is required. The more you read, the more personalized your newsfeed will become. As of today, the Opera AI-powered newsreader is available in select countries such as Ghana, Kenya, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania and the United States. It will be soon coming to Russia, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
