*FORWARDED AS RECEIVED*

I recently employed a cook 2 weeks ago who according to him had recently relocated from Abuja. He had full references and ID etcetera. To cut a long story short, a week after he started working, he told my nanny that he specialized in cloning atm/bank cards and replacing real  forex with counterfeit so the bosses could not suspect as the card will never be taken out of the house nor the quantity of the money reduce. He basically asked her to look around for any forex, higher denominations the better and take photos of it as well as any atm card she could find preferably not naira. She told me this a day after and to be honest i wasn’t exactly buying  the story but felt it was too ludicrous for her to make up plus he is a rather stellar cook. Plus i had no forex at home. I asked for proof before taking any actions and she proceeded to record their conversations. I also put a recording device in the kitchen unknown to her. Anyways, she was right. He called several na...

When I was 35 Years Old, I Dated A Woman Who Was 45 Years old

Image
She was divorced too but my reason for choosing an older and divorced woman was simple and straight to the point; I am at a point in my life that I needed less drama and more focus on putting my life to order.  I was creating my business and I needed to focus, so it was not a time to date a younger, foolish and entitled girl. I felt that experience would have helped an older woman to become mature and have lesser drama compared to these younger folks.  I did not want to be arguing about trivial matters as the following, which are common among younger girls.  Why I did not call 25 times a day.  Why I considered my business more important than her. Why she was not the first I talked to when I woke up from bed.  Why I posted on my status before responding to her messages.   Why I did not answer the call the first time she called. Why I had to talk to other women that I knew and did not ask out before I met her.  I considered dealing with ...

Akwa Ibom State High Court sitting in Uyo has sentenced a dismissed soldier with the Nigerian Army, 6 Battalion, Ibagwa in Abak, Corporal Stephen Iweh, to death by hanging for the murder of a 42-year-old man, Christopher Enobong Jimmy. The incident occurred on 23rd May, 2021 along the East-West Road in Ikot Abasi Local Government Area.  The late Jimmy, who was the Manager of a Clearing and Forwarding Company in Port Harcourt, had offered Corporal Iweh a lift in his car from Trailer Park in Onne, Rivers State, to Ikot Abasi in Akwa Ibom.  Along the way, at Oboro Junction in Ikot Abasi, the 39 year-old soldier shot him dead before fleeing with the vehicle and valuables. Investigations revealed that Corporal Iweh, a father of three children, had illegally kept the AK-47 rifle which he said he “picked at Dambou, Borno State in 2018 and decided to keep it as personal arms”.  He was later traced to Andy Guest House in Ukanafun, many kilometers from the scene of crim...

Here’s a researched, more accurate account of Kanu’s health‑related legal battles, and suggestions with some news articles with caveats and fact checks:

I searched widely, but I did not find any credible report confirming that a court recently ordered the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) to verify Nnamdi Kanu’s health status in eight days. I suspect this might be a misquote, misunderstanding, or confusion of different court orders involving Kanu’s health and access to medical records.           🔍 Background: Kanu’s Health & Legal Battles Over the years, Nnamdi Kanu — leader of the proscribed group IPOB — has repeatedly raised concerns about his health while in DSS custody. He has asked courts to allow independent medical examinations, access to his doctors, and full medical records. Key past developments: In July 2023, a Federal High Court in Abuja ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to grant Kanu access to his medical records and doctors of his choice. The court held that DSS’s objections lacked merit, but stipulated that any independent medical examination be supervised by D...
