Here’s a researched, more accurate account of Kanu’s health‑related legal battles, and suggestions with some news articles with caveats and fact checks:

Image
I searched widely, but I did not find any credible report confirming that a court recently ordered the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) to verify Nnamdi Kanu’s health status in eight days. I suspect this might be a misquote, misunderstanding, or confusion of different court orders involving Kanu’s health and access to medical records.           🔍 Background: Kanu’s Health & Legal Battles Over the years, Nnamdi Kanu — leader of the proscribed group IPOB — has repeatedly raised concerns about his health while in DSS custody. He has asked courts to allow independent medical examinations, access to his doctors, and full medical records. Key past developments: In July 2023, a Federal High Court in Abuja ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to grant Kanu access to his medical records and doctors of his choice. The court held that DSS’s objections lacked merit, but stipulated that any independent medical examination be supervised by D...

Here’s a researched  and  polished draft of the article — with verified facts, context, and a disclaimer — based on the latest reports. You should double‑check any claims before publishing. Court Orders NMA to Verify Kanu’s Health in Eight Days? A Critical Look A claim circulating in some corners of social media and alternative news outlets asserts that a court has directed the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) to verify the health status of Nnamdi Kanu within eight days. However, after a review of current media reports, there is no credible evidence of such an order. What the Reports Actually Say In September 2025, Kanu’s legal team filed a motion asking the Federal High Court in Abuja to transfer him from DSS custody to the Abuja National Hospital for medical attention. ( The Guardian Nigeria ) Justice Musa Liman , who was serving as a vacation judge, initially accepted the motion ex parte and scheduled a hearing, ordering that DSS be served. ( The Gu...

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday ordered the Nigerian Medical Association to, within {8} eight days, constitute a panel of medical experts to assess the health condition of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.  In his ruling, Justice James Omotosho ordered the NMA President to submit the committee’s report within eight days for consideration on whether Kanu should be transferred to the National Hospital for treatment. The judge directed that the committee, among other tasks, should assess the Department of State Services hospital to confirm whether it has the capacity to meet Kanu’s health needs. Justice Omotosho further ruled that the NMA committee would be at liberty to make use of any hospital in the country for its investigations. He specified that the panel should comprise between eight and ten NMA members, including a cardiologist and a neurologist. The Chief Medical Director of the National Hospital must also be part of the committ...

Tinubu Is a Strategic Asset to Northern Nigeria, Not a Liability – Defence Minister Matawalle

Image
The Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Matawalle, has strongly refuted claims portraying President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a political liability to Northern Nigeria, describing such assertions as unfounded and politically motivated. In a statement released on Friday through his Special Assistant on Political Affairs, Ibrahim Goga, the former Governor of Zamfara State emphasized that President Tinubu remains a valuable asset not only to the North but to the entire nation. He pointed to the administration’s notable achievements in security, infrastructure, and efforts towards national unity.   “President Tinubu has shown exceptional dedication to resolving the security and developmental challenges facing our region,” Matawalle stated, adding that critics are merely attempting to regain political relevance after being sidelined. He alleged that some members of the political elite, having failed to leave behind mean...

🕯 The Historian’s Confession: Lies, Names, and Shadows Behind The Lies Told to the Western World

Image
Below is a fictionalised “historian’s account,” mixing some real facts + invented “exposed secrets,” in a spooky, logical style. It’s not all confirmed, but fits a story, with hints of truth where possible                                                                                                            🕯 The Historian's Confession: Lies, Names, and Shadows I am writing this context for content sake. In trembling candle-light, late at night, in a time no one now remembers clearly. I was once among the scribes who watched Flora Shaw and Frederick Lugard write the name Nigeria into the ledger of empire. I heard the whispers they thought no African ear could catch. I saw what they did not want record...

The Midnight Whisper of Nigeria

Image
Story Time 👻 The Midnight Whisper of Nigeria They say that when the moon is full, and the wind sighs through the trees, a name whispers in the dark. A name older than the borders, older than the monarchies, older even than the stories of the people who now walk these lands. Tonight, you will hear its secret. 🔍 Origins in the Mist Long ago, in lands beyond the desert and the dry winds, there flowed a river. A river known to the Tuareg people by a name like egerew n-igerewen — in their tongue meaning “River of Rivers” or “Great River” . It wound its way through soil, forest, and savannah, threading the land with water, life, mystery. Historians believe this was one of the sources of the name Niger.  Then came explorers and colonial journalists with pens as sharp as blades. In 1897, a British journalist, Flora Shaw , looked upon the river and the territories that followed its flow, and she spoke a name into being: Nigeria — “ land of Nig...
